Homebird, an intimate portrayal of Belfast, opens a conversation about Northern Ireland’s identity and sense of belonging, at a time of internal dialogue about redefining the island’s international position and representation. Delving into the deeply rooted connection between place and identity, portraits and personal stories allow for a nuanced narrative, aiming to redress Belfast’s stereotypical representation.
